Antifreeze liquids
Modern heating, ventilation and conditioning systems mainly use water as a heat medium. What is to be done, however, if in winter period heating system does not function or if heat medium with the temperature closer to zero is required? The only solution is to replace water in the heating system with a special liquid that does not freeze up in temperatures below zero. GC Impulse has been producing such ethylene glycol-based liquids for over 10 years.
Antifreeze liquid is in essence a water-glycol compound with carefully selected chemical agents, such as anti-foam, anti-corrosion, acidity content stabilizers and others. Antifreeze liquid enables safe functioning of heating and conditioning systems under temperatures as low as -65°Ñ.
Currently GC Impulse offers the following products:
Antifreeze liquid "DIXIS" – one of the most popular antifreeze liquids on the market. It was developed by the experts from LLC ‘Gelis-Int’ (GC Impulse constituent) in 2000. DIXIS is produced as a concentrate with the freezing point of -65°Ñ and as a ready for use products with the freezing point of -35°Ñ.
Antifreeze liquid "Nixiegel". It was developed in 2006 on the basis of DIXIS. In this new product the experts from GC Impulse used highly purified agents, reconsidered its amount in the compound and revised the production technology. As a result we obtained a next-generation product that is more ecologically friendly and safer for the engineering systems. Nixiegel is also offered as a concentrate “Nixiegel-65” as well as ready-for-use “Nixiegel-30”.
In order to keep up with the growing market demand new modern antifreeze liquid manufacturing plant was launched in 2007.
